I always find it really hard to explain something like a Get Better Retreat, but I'll do my best here. 

For the past seven years, I've been a part of the online marketing and coaching space, and there's a lot of good in this space, but there's also a lot of people who are…

Preying on dysregulated humans. 

And what I mean by that is that most people, especially entrepreneurs, are walking around with a lot of stuff on their mind.

We’re always kind of spinning. 

And sometimes we get so overwhelmed and things feel so out of whack that we're just looking for something to get us back on track. 

And then along comes an offer for such and such program, such and such mastermind, such and such course, right? 

And we get excited because the promise of this reminds us why we started this. 

It reminds us where we're going, and we can “see it again.”

And then we start to connect with that initial spark that led us to where we are. 

We get excited. 

The people who are selling these programs, they know that you're not ready yet to implement what's in there, but what they think is like, that's okay.

“I'll just get them in and then I'll be able to change them. I'm gonna line them up with this mindset stuff. And that's what we're gonna go over first. We're gonna do the mindset stuff and then, then they're gonna get into the stuff and their life's gonna be changed forever.” 

And what happens when you get in there?

You realize “oh… there is no secret I didn’t know.”

You might learn a few things, but it's not the thing you “needed.” 

And then you go look for the next thing… and then THAT thing reminds you of why your started… And the whole thing starts over again.

This is a constant loop that people get in. 

To be honest, it was starting to make me feel physically ill to see this happen time and time again. 

Then I started to realize… It's not about searching for an answer. 

We cannot find it outside of ourselves. 

It has to come FROM us not TO us.

So what's the decision then?

The decision is either to continue this loop and continue searching for the answer and continue trying to find somebody to help me do it. 

Or…

I have to stop and I have to get better. 

I have to go inside. 

I have to immerse myself in an environment full of people who are committed to getting better, knowing that there's not a real answer for me anywhere else. 

I have to do things that are gonna make me better… 

That are gonna make me better physically…That are gonna make me better mentally…That are gonna make me better spiritually…

 That are gonna make me move into the power that I have to do the thing that I was put on this planet to do.

And a lot of you are already there.

You're already there now. You have everything you need to go to the next step.

You just need space and time to set and be the person that you're meant to be…

Space and time to get better.

And that’s why the Get Better Retreat was born. 

I developed it for myself. 

I developed it for people like me. 

I developed it for solopreneurs who are building a life that they want their business to fuel.

Not the other way around. 

We don't want to fuel our business with our life. We want our business to fuel the life we want, and for us to be thriving in every way possible. 

And so when you join us on this three day EPIC adventure… We’re going to get better. 

We're gonna do some things that are gonna make us uncomfortable.

We're gonna do some jiu jitsu.  We're going to breathe. We’re going to do some cold exposure.We’re going to climb mountains.

And we're gonna talk about business and we're gonna talk about growth. 

Here’s what I’m not going to do…

I'm not gonna teach you some sort of new crazy hack or tactic that's going to be something you waste your time on and end up doing what always works for you anyway. 

I'm not gonna do that. 

This is something wholly new and wholly different.

I promise you, you haven’t been to anything like this before. 

It is a space for you to come and be and change and grow and actually get better. 

Because getting better doesn't happen through a mindset module. 

Getting better happens through action…

Through getting out in the woods.. 

Getting out in the mountains and exploring and making new connections with people and doing things that challenge you. 

That's what is gonna make you better. 

And so I hope you'll join me on this adventure.
